Bud,

Use of CB varies....depending upon point of sale you really don't need or 
want the CB all the way down. As other have mentioned running downwind the 
CB should be all the way up. When beating into the wind the CB should be all 
the way down. I raise the CB higher and higher as I fall of wind.
