i too became a rhodie... last spring... an '80 ... and it got "wet" twice
so far... the first quickly resulted in several inches of water in the
bilge, the second "float test" was bone dry inside (after a god deal of
gasket and epoxy work) The cabin is totally gutted at the moment.. need a
bit warmer weather for some stringer repacement and then get her back
together, fix ports, etc.... Hopefully this spring I'll be sailing. Don't
know much about sailing her yet, but i have learned a lot about taking her
apart and puttin her back together. Assuming our boats are pretty similar,
if I help with any questions, let me know.
