Ed, your point rings true with so many magazines...the problem often
stems from their reliance on 3rd party distribution arrangements which
are largely commissioned based. I sure wish American publishers would
simply adopt the European method...you put it on a credit card and the
subscription is good until you cancel. Some publishers are already
moving to this option. Dan
