[Rhodes22-list] Ed's Question about polishing

Yes, Ed ... as was said in the movie Stripes -- "Lighten up, Francis."

I'm fairly certain that Rummy is not so vindictive. And to try and suggest that Hank or I are inhibiting the flow of information is ... well, ridiculous. I would think your constant berating of people would be more likely to do that than us giving you some of your own medicine in return.

Rummy, any advice on polishes or other treatments to maintain my boat's gelcoat would be greatly appreciated. Ironically, I was actually going to post just such a question later today before Ed posted the question himself. And I didn't even have to check the archives beforehand since Ed has so clearly done so already.

Is a polish the best method for preserving one's gelcoat? Or is there something more fundamental I should be doing before applying a polish?

Come on, Ed, lighten up! As much as you dog people about checking the
archives you got to expect that we're going to rib you when you post what
you did. Now if you had said "Rummy, I have searched the archives, but I
can't find your post, could you please re-send it" then we wouldn't have had
the ammunition you so conveniently gave us.

Have a great day, Ed.

Hank
