Having done some work on rebuilding and maintaining glass boats, I am at a
loss for the need for a come a long.  Most things can be accomplished
without damaging the boat by taking your time and gently prying.  

If the screws have seized, then maybe Rummy's WD-40 is in order.  Remember
that soaking and waiting for penetration helps.  To add to this endeavor,
try a hair dryer or heat gun to warm enough to break seizing.  Always use
appropriate screwdriver for task and maybe use vise grips to turn screw
driver while maintaining downward pressure.

There are other products on the market instead of WD-40 which is as old as
….
