[Rhodes22-list] Chris G. Pacific All Sail Boat Show

  Hi Chris, and all Rhodies. Wife Joyce and I did make it to the boat show at Jack London Square. One thing I was hoping for was to meet Chris. Did you make it to the show Chris? My phone never rang so I  guess you did not make it or you misplaced  my number. 
  Since the end of the show we sailed SF bay. from Redwood city to Sacramento. We love the sf bay delta and spent several days there sailing and meeting some great folks who invited us to crew on their boats. One was a Westsail 32. And we helped a man move his boat ( 52' Garden ketch) from Stocton to Alameda. What a great time we had. The garden weighed 21 tons and took a lot of sail to get it to sail, but it was a very nice boat and would go 4 to 6 mph.  I am not to sure about the Westsail and the owner of the westsail was not too sure about the r-22. Takes all kinds I guess.  
   All together we were gone over five weeks. 22 feet can get a little small in that amount of time, but sometimes it is fun to see how much we can do with our small boat.
