Hank,

I was curious as to what North Sails was offering for so little so I asked
for a quotation. They do add the leech and foot covering to the Genoa. I
do not know if it is Sunbrella or not but $1100 for a new suit of sails
(standard main & 150% Genoa) is definitely interesting.

This is the basic quotation:

CD NorDac Coastal Mainsail
Conditions: Standard Wind Conditions 6oz 4800 Dacron 91 sq. ft. Base:
$   461

CD NorDac Genoa
LP Measurement: 150 %
Max Apparent Wind: 23 Knots 5oz 4800 Dacron 168 sq. ft. Base:
$   562
 UV Leech and Foot
$     84

Total Price: USD
$1,107

While I do not know what Stan is charging for sails and advice, North Sails
Cruising Direct requires further investigation for those who may be in the
market for new sails.
