I did learn one thing about these small boats w/outboard mounted to one side
versus a larger boat w/engine and prop mounted inline in front of the
rudder. With my big boat, I could goose the gas with the rudder thrown over
and slide the rear to one side to make quick slow speed turns. With my
rhodes, that is not possible. FYI, my engine is fixed. I do not have the
rudder engine link.
