[Rhodes22-list] Do you recommend the Bimini top?

Upon reflection of the few times spent sailing when the blazing sun
 
was intolerable, I'm going to stick with the old plastic tarp in lieu of 
 
a bimini. A terry cloth hat soaked in sea water is a cooling experience.
 
Just pass the sun block !
