[Rhodes22-list] Removing motor for repair

Being relative newbies, Jim and I are wondering (OK, having lively debates) about how to safely remove
our 80 pound Yamaha motor for repair if necessary. It has been idling fine, but hesitating when increasing the throttle.
We will replace the fuel filter (our first guess), but if that doesn't work, we will need to take it to the
local Yamaha dealer for repair. We have no previous experience with outboard motors.
Back to removing the motor---neither one of us can lift heavy objects. Any creative way to remove
it without manhandling it? We will be taking it out of the water this weekend. :(

Thanks,
Jim and Kathy Barron
