i for one, have slept very well listening to waves slapping the sides

A friend of mine with a MacGregor26X would tie a loose line from stern to
bow and then attach the anchor's rope rode to the middle of the line. I
think this kept his boat from rocking in the Chesapeake chop, but I'm not
sure how well I'd sleep with waves slapping the side of the boat.
