[Rhodes22-list] Chet, you seem to be an O.K. guy, but...

Chet,

Let me see if I can provide some help.

First, to search the archives, go to www.nabble.com and select the Rhodes 22
forum. In the "Search: This forum" box, enter your search terms, like "mast
crane" (no quotes) and click on "Go". Follow links to find relevant
discussions.

Now, as far as the GB mast crane goes, I have located the following:

    1. Instructions for raising mast using the crane:
            http://www.nabble.com/Fw%3A--Raising-The-Mast-With-The-GB-Bow-Crane-to11689113.html#a11689113

    2. Video of mast raising:
            http://www.sailingtexas.com/Movies/Rhodes22c/srhodes22c.html
(note: There are 3 videos on this web page. The crane is
used in the third one,
                below the large format video.)

David Culp has several interesting videos on this site. Enjoy.

I do not have the IMF and have always raised the mast from the bow with two
people,
without the benefit of the crane. I used the crane with Lou Rosenberg last
year and was
able to single hand it. I have many more items on my "must have" list to
purchase before
I will buy a crane.

I hope that this helps.
