   Thanks for your comments.  I have the old tube-style furler without a 
luff groove.  I agree that
the GBI design is pretty bullet proof.  I also had a CDI furler on my 
C-22 which worked pretty
well, although changing sails was not as easy as advertised.  It is also 
difficult to get luff tension
with the CDI furler.  Overall the advantage of being able to change 
sails with the CDI drove
me to decide to change now that I need a new genoa.

I did get a quote from Stan on a 175, and I am waiting for his response 
on the 155.  I don't know
if the new 175 with foam will alleviate the problems with sail shape on 
the 175 completely. I am
now leaning toward the 155 - although with just the right wind 
conditions the 175 does drive
the boat very well.
