The last we visited this subject was Spring of last year, an no, I
haven't done it yet nor have I replaced the tired mainsail. If I do go
with behind-the-mast furling, this Spring during a de-mast would be
the time. CDI is the cheapest by far and the Catalina website has the
best photos -

Somerset Sails sells a complete rig with sail for my boat for about
$2700. Robert, you said you were thinking about it for one of your
boats - did you do it? Herb, I think it was you that was docked near
someone who had a behind-the-mast system - was it you and was it CDI?
Obviously there will be some loss of performance, but that isn't a
concern of mine. My boom is about 5' 10" above the cockpit floor so
I'm thinking about raising the boom 2" so my head just barely clears
the boom. Another loss of performance however slight.
Ideas?
Brad
