[Rhodes22-list] MJM or John Lock...file size

Guys,

I sent another Italy travelogue & didn't realize that
somehow it was 4.7MB...naturally it can't get through
the hole in the 'gate.'

It's 5 pgs long, the pix only add up to
1298kb...There's very little text I compressed it when
saving it as a PDF...How did it become so big? 

1) Can you shed any light on this???? 

I construct each file in Pages, save it as a Pages
file, then convert it to a PDF.

2) Can it make it through or shall I rework it?
