[Rhodes22-list] Squirrel Question for Robert

Rummy,
So far so good, I could usually hear him active early in the morning and
this morning was quiet. He also usually appears out the hole while waiting
for the school bus but was absent this morning. I've had five or so trapped
over the years and relocated and a new one just moves over from the tin over
from the last guy's hole and chews another one. I thought cutting down the
access trees would solve the problem for sure - not so. A guy was walking by
while I was in WalMart and said he owned the model gun I was looking at and
assured me it would take out squirrels. I believe it did.
Ed,
My question was for Robert and was specifically related to conjugal habits
of squirrels. We've discussed various mating habits over the years, but
never as I recall, how squirrels, er, consummate their relationships and the
stability of their partnerships . Based on my experience with this
particular family of squirrels, I would fear for the chastity of a barn owl
even if I could convince one to take-up residence.
