[Rhodes22-list] It's time for Baseball!

Thanks to you both.  It's been a long time since I've seen the A and C
classic, "Who's on First" and "Hu's on the Phone" is really funny too.  But
I'm in no mood to laugh about the upcoming baseball season.  My beloved
Twins have traded away two-time Cy Young winner, Johan Santana to the Mets
and we also lost Torri Hunter--our two best guys.  The Twins have become a
farm team!  And Francisco Louriano is hung up with visa problems because of
his drunk driving conviction.  Then we lost Timberwolves "Big Ticket" Kevin
Garnett so now the Wolves are the worst team in the NBA   What's going on
here?   It's a wasteland--uh, unless you like hockey.  The Wild is having a
good year and  U of M Gopher basketball doesn't suck as much as it used
to--but still questionable.  And the Vikings are  non-starters.  Sheesh!

I do go to the Metrodome to see the Twins play but I'm going to make it a
point this year to see more minor league baseball games--The St. Paul
Saints, The Duluth Dukes and The Ft. Wayne Wizards are my favorites.  It's
still professional ball and the play seems to be just as good at a fraction
of the cost, better seats and cheaper beer and hot dogs.  I love baseball
and I love being at the park.  Can't wait for the "boys of summer."  I love
the comforting sound of a baseball game on TV.  You can watch or snooze a
little until you hear the roar and open you eyes and watch some fabulous
replay.  I'm so ready for some baseball!
