The old Pratt & Whitney 737 engines (same as my old 727) were quite loud.
The later fan models are quieter. The 737 isn't the problem. The engines
are. Noisy engines equal high fuel burn. $100 per barrel oil will solve
the problem. $200 per barrel oil will solve it quicker!
