[Rhodes22-list] Life Imitates Art (Was this the Griswold family?)

Guess they have to investigate everything these days but it doesn't
sound bizarre to me. In 1940 my grandmother and grandfather were
travelling by the train back to Schenectady after a business meeting
(maybe in NYC but somewhere south). At one point my grandfather
looked at his watch said "Edna we'll be home by midnight" and then
sat down and died. She was a nurse and knew he was dead. There was an
hour or two maybe a bit more left on the train ride. Not wanting to
complicate things or have them stop the train, she didn't summon a
conductor for assistance until they were approaching Schenectady
station. This is a family story but knowing my grandmother I expect
it's absolutely true.
