It was a mix of salt and fresh. My water tank has an air vent valve with a
little float in it, so that should have prevented the tank from emptying
much. My curiosity is now piqued so I will visit the boat tonight and check
the water level in the tank. Then I might have to go sailing.
As mentioned, the carpet, cushions, etc were dry, so the pop top did not
admit much of anything.
The ports are also not suspects as the galley counter had paper and rags on
it- all dry, cushions all dry. My money is on the hull deck joint, and I
solemnly promise to search the archives for the caulking procedure and to
change the subject line if I have anything to add after searching. Of
course, I am also not going to do anything without calling Stan!
Now, tell us about the time you laid her on her side ...I only ask in order
to avoid doing the same. Was it a broach?
