Mike:
After all your research, you are willing to settle for 'red'?
I thought that you would want 'sky blue'. Or a distictive unique color.
Stan has one of the best boat painters in the country. Why not
international orange, shocking pink or azure blue? Put some individuality
into this new venture.

Mary Lou,
Yeah, there were several red hulls at the factory. Also a fair number of
dark blue hulls.
You are right about ease of pronunciation and recollection being important-
latin may not be the best choice.
Mike
Congrats Mike and Mary. Looking good. Red must be popular right now.
In thinking about names, you may want to consider how it sounds over
the radio on either an emergency call or a call to a marina. I always
thought our boat name was fairly straightforward. The only time I
ever had to talk to the Coast Guard on the radio they picked up on
"Fretless" right away. Calling to make reservations at a marina is
another matter. I'm forever having to spell it out and even then they
seem confused. I've taken to calling on the cell phone for that.
