Rob,
The point is not whether there is global warming. And, that man may be
contributing. There is global warming and man may be contributing. This
was obvious before Al Gore invented the internet.
The issue is the extent that America can reasonably control the situation,
and fair amount of the burden that should fall on ordinary Americans? Just
look at the houses that Al Gore and John Edwards live in. Not exactly the
same as yours. Look at Ralph Nader’s life style. He lives his talk. If
you want to lead this type issue, it should be real, honest.
As to the National Democrats opposition to off shore oil, how many gallons
were spilt during the recent hurricanes?
And big oil’s[?] leases in existence, first if there was really sufficient
oil there, I suggest that they would have wells pumping. The leases that
the National Democrats say are not being used; they are leases that already
have expirations and renewals that if they are not used, expire. It must be
concluded that some of Nancy Pelosi’s diatribe is just bullshit or she does
not know the wording in the existing leases. Or worse, does not care.
