[Rhodes22-list] Information gathering

Rummy,

Nah!  I save apologies for when they involve $$$$.  A student wrote me up a
couple of months ago for swearing in the classroom.  He was playing "stump
the professor" with engine operation and I'd had enough so I explained
engines with the suck/squeeze/bang/blow theory  and a couple of other choice
words. I knew at the time he was setting me up and was going to run it up
the PC flagpole but couldn't resist taking the bait.  This list is one of
the few places where you ignore the PC police and speak freely.  If we lose
that, we've lost period.
