What a great people shot! Wish I'd taken it.

I was lucky to have grown up in LI during the Yankees' reign of glory...Was able to go to Yankee Stadium & see Mantle, Maris, Skowron, Berra, Richardson (!), Ford...Howard, Boyer, Kubek,...that's all I can remember...have to look up the rest....I even got to meet the baseball announcer...Red Barber...he patted me on the head...

Those were the day, my friend, we'd thought they'd never end.......
