I have the rest of the adult leaders with me today and we are going to try and get the boat rigged properly.? How does the aft end of the boom attach to the top of the mast?

Last summer I rebuilt the traveler on my '79 Rhodes.  It's an easy 
project with off the shelf parts.  Could be easily added to your boat 
and might be a good project for the scouts.  Check it out at

parts list if you're interested.
