Herb,

He isn't playing to the left - he is left.  What he's playing is centrist.
The big O has a patina of Chicago political sleeze that won't go away, and
while the mainstream press won't touch him out of awe or political
correctness, the Clintons will.  This is going to be bare-knuckles politics
like we haven't seen in awhile.  I'd enjoy it more if the other guy was
someone I liked.
