Fort Bragg - Center of the Airborne Universe!  Newbern and Wilmington
are the closest place for costal sailing.  I use to trailer sail out of
Cherry Point MCAS on the Neuse River.  You might want to consider going
for a christening cruise there at GB and then leaving the boat with them
for any quick fixes/improvements.

Actually I had a choice of several locations.  Fort Bragg was actually
one of the better locations. Consider: Ft. Hood, Sill,  Leonard Wood or
Riley and you'll understand why I chose Bragg when offered.
