  Yes, it worked well for trailer sailing.  Storage area was a field
right next to the ramp.  Steep ramp that did not require use of trailer
extension.  They also have wet slips.  Like most military marinas it is
safe, shallow, and inexpensive with minimum frills.   --Mike

Mike,
I have contemplated Cherry Point myself.  Do they have some storage
provision for a boat like ours?  Was this a preferred site, in your
view?
