[Rhodes22-list] Politics - Stan and Brad

Brad,
Hard to say. Agreed, he talked about it in his book but it hasn't been
discussed in the media yet or used as a campaign issue. I'm betting it will
be sooner or later and am just wondering when it will be brought out and by
whom. H.W. Bush's sleazy dealings with the Saudi's didn't seem to hurt him
too much, we'll have to see about Obama. Even if what you suggest is true
it still might not hurt him. He offers Hope, and after living with the Fear
for the last seven years, people who believe in him will overlook any
shortcomings. People don't care about a thin resume if you offer Hope. He
does give a damn good speech, though. It's going to be very interesting if
he gets the nomination. McCain doesn't really offer anything except more
War and Fear and he'll continue to piss off the base and loose their
support. And when you talk about a thin resume, all McCain runs on is his
past POW status. He'll be "swift boated" about that once the nominations
are over. Going to be an interesting election. Can't happen soon enough
for my liking, and according to my Out of Town Countdown calendar, we only
have 298 days of Bush left! - rob
