[Rhodes22-list] Mast raising--Beating the dead horse

  I know I'm late to this thread, but let me add my two cents to the discussion.
   
  Last summer I had to lower my mast because of a jammed head sail.  I did it at a float on a calm day, but just as I had raised the mast half way after the repair, a lobster boat came it a good clip along with the accompanying large wake.
   
  I rocked and rolled and kept cranking.  Up went the mast with no problems.
  It is well worth the money. Buy it if you haven't.
