Barring a manufacturing defect, tightening the straps should make the 
bimini taut. Is it hanging up on something? Is the middle bow hung up 
somehow? Maybe try reversing the whole thing? I think we found that 
we actually prefer ours "backwards" but that's one of those things 
that we seem to forget from year to year along with the way we run 
the topping lift.
