[Rhodes22-list] The end of the Rove era -- Political

Rummy,
Don't bet on that hope! Palin will not disappear like Quale. Both
parties are in disarray right now. The Democrats have been hi-jacked
by the far-left Howard Dean side of the party and the GOP has lost its
bearings from the Reagan era. Palin could start her own party if she
chose to. The mistake you and other's make is to see her through your
own bias and dislikes about her personality and policy. She has
tapped into the psyche of a neglected constituency that, while
suffering, will not fade away.
The referendum being voted on today is not so much personalities but
socialism. We'll see soon enough. We as a country are mostly center
if not slightly right of center. I'm betting the center holds and if
it doesn't, the pendulum will right itself quickly.
