Every time I see that video, I think
"Wow, I wonder if they had to spend millions on 'Get out Vote'
campaigns? If they had to overly simplify the process, so folks could
register without being 'bothered' in the process, you know register
while getting their driver's license, buying groceries, etc.? I wonder
if those folks that stood in line, many of them afraid for their lives,
limited their knowledge of what they were doing to what they heard or
saw on TV commercials while watching they're favorite TV shows?"
We live in a disgustingly lazy and pampered society about such things.
I'm ready for the pendulum to swing.
