The intent of the taxation and distribution of income today has come to mean
“equally share the standard of living”, without regard to contribution,
risk, achievement, etc.   This is called Socialism, etc., on the street in
2008.
Remember recent examples of how well government works, FEMA, Fannie Mae,
Freddie Mac, Bailouts…
Also remember how well socialism treated intellectuals, and remember the
term 'Gulag'.
