Cool my pic came through. They catch a bunch of flak about over spray from
EPA so they roll and tip. My yard has some talent and the most complete
haul-out capabilities on this part of the TN River. Plus the guys that
painted my boat have worked there for 7 and 3 years. I have seen them do
some amazing work.
The bottom paint was an ablative ...not Micron CSC but something else maybe
from Petit? I can't remember but they applied 2 coats. I also had them
remove an old unused plastic transducer and glass in the hole. I took
advantage of end of season special that waived haul out and pressure washing
with any bottom paint job. We looked at the hull with something like a
jewelers loop. They advised me it was time to paint.
The cost for Haul out, pressure wash, Bottom job (4 small blisters), painted
boot stripe, Awlgrip topsides, glassed in thru hull, and launch totaled $3K.
Fair winds,
Wally
