In the tropics....as elsewhere (I suspect....) rhum is not just for dessert anymore....
 
Maybe being on this big old boat with it's nose pointed in a southerly direction (albiet it tied to the dock for the moment) makes a person rather philosophic.....

I have noticed lately that it  seems as though the entire world around us (at 
least here at latitude 26)  seems passionately polarized, with people right 
on the edge. Do I sense that  here too? I hope not because it appears that soon

we are likely to  be facing some sort of common enemy (socially as well as  
economically) the likes of which we have never seen before  and it might be 
prudent (as Americans) to try and at least remember that  possibility when we 
deal with each other

...Just my somewhat  illogicial thoughts.

I can appreciate your perspective, but the  solution is quite 
simple.  Set up a filter in your e-mail program  that sends e-mail 
from <hparsons at parsonsys.com> to the junk  folder.  This should be a 
very easy procedure and you may even derive  some small pleasure from 
doing so.  This will end all further contact  both on the list and back 
channel.

If that doesn't suit your needs,  then don't rise to the bait.  You

many arguments...".  My response is  that an argument takes two to 
happen.  These problems usually  disappear once the group doesn't play 
along any  more.
