Rummy,
Not quite sure about the "largest ethanol producer" statement, in the
US that would be Archer-Daniels-Midland (ADM) by a substantial margin
(you may recall I offered to introduce a former list member to the
head ethanol dude there - he declined). If they're talking about the
largest cellulose ethanol producer, the statement may be correct. If
cellulose ethanol can be made profitable it will be a wonderful thing.
The Oak Ridge laboratory here in TN has been working on switchgrass
ethanol for years. Root for victory!
