Bill,

I think you did them a favor.

1.  They no longer have to deal with
leadership that makes decisions based on
retribution rather than merit.

2.  They do not have to die the death of a
thousand cuts as the company is destroyed
with that quality of decision making.

Of course, I can hope that you were just
pulling our "collective" leg.
