I suggest you write her and tell her she doesn't know what she's talking 
about when she writes of her experiences with her father. Maybe you 
could recommend she check with your sources for further information. 
Finally, be sure to tell her you will ignore any further emails from her 
if she dare disagree with you. Be sure to send a few links to leftist 
papers.

But, take heart. There are those out there that agree with you!! I found 
one of the comments on your Amazon link especially interesting:

"If you fall for this piece of political hackery, then you are 
definitely too stupid to vote. Possession of this book invalidates your 
voting rights. Better yet, all you Rethuglican morons better hang on to 
this "book"; when we build a giant wall around the Red states, you are 
going to need paper products with which to wipe your bottoms."

There you have it straight from a fellow... nah, better not say 
traveler, a fellow left leaner, how's that? If in possession of this 
book, one should be disenfranchised, and hopes for a wall around the red 
states.

The does sound a little more extreme than some of the nonsense I've 
heard on here, but not by much...
