Wally,

Powell endorsing Obama is a "dog bites man" story.  He's been hinting
for months that this was coming, and surprise, surprise, Obama has
said Powell will have a position in an Obama administration.

What I did find interesting was Powell's pooh-poohing the Bill Ayer's
connection.  He obviously gets his news from the MSM as well, although
late in the game, even the MSM is having second thoughts.

Here's some more news that's being ignored.  Obama and Ayers had
offices in the same building at 115 South Sangamon St. in Chicago.
"Just a guy in my neighborhood"?
