Slim,
You wrote, " Have you forgotten that unemployment is at a high,
poverty level is rising,
people are without jobs, median income is down, no health care, the needless
and costly war in Iraq, the depleting of SS, the vanishing pensions, the
enormous debt? What do you want for Chrisssake? This is not the Bill I
know!"
Slim, you cannot shout your way into a recession, or maybe you can,
but, unemployment is NOT at a high, you make yourself sound silly by
saying so. You want to end poverty, create jobs, increase income, and
provide healthcare, good, so does everyone with half a brain. That
means you need to grow the economy and it takes energy to do that.
You left a small detail out of Sarah's resume, she also was Chairman
of the Alaska Oil and Gas Commission. Lest you think this was some
"beauty queen" do-nothing job, she oversaw 20% of the US domestic oil
production. What did she do there? She found corruption and heads
rolled.
The left took one look at Sarah Palin and made an instant judgement.
Yes Slim, your sexism is showing along with a lot of others. Spend a
little more time examining her record and then make a decision. The
one area she is weak in is foreign policy, same as Obama. Obama went
to Iraq, Sarah went to Kuwait, Obama went to Germany to make a speech
to Germans and work out, Sarah went to Germany to visit her wounded
Alaska Guardsmen in the hospital. Obama went to Canada to apologize
for trash-talking NAFTA, Sarah went to Canada to negotiate a pipeline
deal shortcutting "Big Oil" because they tried to take her and
Alaskans for granted.
We've all had a long time to examine Obama, and every time I peel off
another layer I see more corrupt Chicago politician and more Marxism.
You are watching history in the making. A lot of folks like me were
planning on dragging themselves to the polls to vote against Obama and
for McCain only by default. Now we have something to be excited
about. You may not understand it but the movement is real. You go
girl!
