[Rhodes22-list] Eric and Motor size for the Rhodes 22 (Get good PFD and Locator Device

Eric,

It's not so much the amount of throttle as it is the weight of the engine.
The transom was not designed to handle the heavier weight of a 25hp engine.
There was already one previous rhodie who had their transom ripped out by
the engine, although I don't recall the exact circumstances.  You should
quickly beef up the support in the transom  for that engine, if you are
going to keep it on the boat.
