[Rhodes22-list] Eric and Motor size for the Rhodes 22 (Get goodPFD and Locator Device

Eric,

The fellow to talk to is Burt Brody.  His R22, the Golden Snooch, fractured 
the transom and now sports an aluminum plate to help the structure of the 
motor mount.  He was in heavy seas and the motor ripped a hole in the 
transom due to the inertial moment of the engine, not the thrust.  He had 
all he could stand just to get back to port.  I know, you will keep the 
throttle below 1/4 speed and always sail in seas of 2' or less.  Expect the 
unexpected.
