Michael,
As long as you have the parts for the fuel pump, I would replace them
anyway. Preventative maintenance after twenty years. Then you would be good for
another twenty.

Looks like the fuel filter did the trick but also replaced the motor side
hose end connector.
Tested while docked in forward gear in 3/4 throttle 3 times. Ran like a
champ !
