Come on Ed, Maybe I should have put HUMOR in the subject line.  I rarely
pay attention to political posts because I am ignorant of all things
political and never reveal my true leanings. The Republicans haven't been
able to dry up that gov't teat we work hard to fund and Herb rants
about...and probably never will.  The only brilliant thing I have heard
come out the mouth of ANY politician in the last 10 years was when Newt
said we should dump half of the strategic reserve into the open market so
all of the speculators would lose there asses and think twice about ever
running the price of oil up.  No one took notice until Osamabama repeated
it and the price of gas dropped 15 cents over night. I don't know
anything about Palin's positions (stop it!).  I made a crack about her
being hot at the begining of her RNC speech; my wife grabbed the remote
and made me watch the Andy Griffin show marathon on TV land. I really
care less who gets into office.  The insurance industry and lobbists run
the country anyway .Like the last 3 or so elections, it comes down to the
lesser of two weevils. evils? I am a blue collar unionized
tradesman, make six figures, have a well funded, managed
investment/retirement portfolio, drive a company truck with a company gas
card. My wife (Morgan Fairchild) is a public elementary school
teacher.  We have two teenage sons and can have no more, enough money
saved to put them both through college, and a stash of assault rifles
(bought before the 1995 ban), crates of ammo and years worth of MRE's and
water stored in our mountain retreat/bunker (in Canada) and am a Druid
(reformed). So I think I am pretty insulated come what may and not
concerned about abortion, gays, war, the draft, gas prices, etc.  Yeah,
yeah, that's the ticket.  But I am going to vote for McCain because he
is real old and Palin is oh so cute. (sssssh, don't tell my wife though,
she still thinks I am voting for Ron Paul... he he he)
