[Rhodes22-list] Andrew Collins and his Fallow Traveler

Assumptions, assumptions! How do you know that most Rhodies do not
use their traveller? In the interest of clarity - I don't know
whether they do or not. You could be right.

We do use our traveller. We like fiddling with the controls and
seeing what we can do to improve performance. The traveller is a
great tool and I would encourage everyone to unwrap those lines and
try it out. There's nothing particularly mysterious about it. It just
increases or decreases the twist in the sail. It is easier to use
with a continuous line but you don't have to replace the existing
lines - just tie the two loose ends of the existing line together so
that it is one continuous line.
