You indicate you repaired a split rudder in the past. Would you please indicate how you did it, and what materials you used. Thanx a heap. Bob

Bob,
The bottom part that you are referring to is actually the rudder. If it is  
simply split along the seams, it can be dried out and repaired with fiberglass. 
 It's not a hard fix and something that I did several years ago to mine.

I have a single piece rudder head for  sale. It is the old style that has two 
metal plates on the sides.

It is  1 1/2" white Kingstarboard.  It was professionally made by a plastics

I own a 1973 Rhodes, which is  certainly old style. I have split the bottom 
portion of my rudder. The top  portion is ok as is the tiller. Does the part of
