Lou, 

 The porta potty sits just inside the entrance to the cabin on the port
side. On the newer Rhodes that is where where one of the ends of the u
shaped couch is (suffering from lack of proper words here ) As my wife and
myself are ex theatre people we got over hang ups about bodily functions a
long time ago.
When under way with company the hatch door can be slid in place should
privacy be required.
