Thanks for the input. Yes I am pretty sure it is a 4 stroke, the boat is an
hour drive away and I will confirm at my next visit. I was able to find the
manual on line at the Yamaha web site and I now understand the fresh water
garden hose flush concept and understand oil is not required to mix with the
gas. I plan to run the engine dry during my next use and will flush it out
with fresh water. Lot's of fun new things to learn.
