[Rhodes22-list] Gusset vs Compression Post

Art, I have a problem cutting and altering boat construction.
Ventilation appears to be your priority. Most Rhodes have windows or
ports on starboard, port and forward in the cabin. The starboard and
port window in my boat do NOT open. The forward windows have screens
and do open. Consider replacing the stationary windows with one that
open witn screens. Exhausting the head into the galley can have a diwn
side at supper time. With windows on both sides you will have greater
potential for a cross breeze. Be careful cutting into the bulkhead,
wires to lights, radios, etc. come up and into the cabin roof
somewhere. Good Luck, Jim J
